Fiji Television Limited is proud to announce the introduction of another locally produced program, known as Spell Well, in 2009.

This new show, as the name suggests, is a primary school television spelling competition aimed at all primary school students in the country.

The program is educational in its focus as it aspires to build vocabulary skills and develop word association. As words are an essential part of life, the program will highlight the significance and importance of its everyday use.

Through the development of this first generation program, students will be challenged to raise their point of interest and intellect in various areas of study as they prepare for Secondary and Tertiary levels of education.

This program works towards the goal of providing an opportunity through the media to better educate the children of today, in Fiji and across the Pacific.

Top 16

 The Spell Well competition is open to all interested primary schools to enter. This will have to start with the Preliminary Elimination Rounds at its specified dates, where Fiji Television will determine the top 16 primary schools to participate in the 2009 Spell Well season.

Only the top 16 schools with the most points scored during the Preliminary Elimination Rounds will make it to the 2009 Spell Well Competition.
